HOT TUNA OR CHICKEN SALAD
HOT TUNA SALAD
This appetizer or main dish casserole is quick, easy and surprisingly delicious. Serve it piled on toast, crackers or salad, it never fails, it is my go to dish for a quick meal
INGREDIENTS
10 oz tuna ( 2 5 oz cans)
or
2 cups cooked cubed chicken
2 cups chopped celery about 4 stems
1 cup mayonnaise
4 tsp grated onion
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 cup crushed potato chips
1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS
Heat oven to 450 degrees.
Combine the mayo, onion, salt and lemon juice.
Add the protein of choice and celery. Mix well.
Put it into a 2 quart casserole.
Top with the potato chips and cheese.
Bake for about 15 minutes.
