INGREDIENTS

1 lb asparagus spears, trimmed to remove the woody ends, about 2 -3 inches
2 Tbsp olive oil or butter
3/4 tsp sal gris or salt of your choice, plus a smattering more to scatter dress
1/3 cup water

INSTRUCTIONS

Add oil or butter, water and salt into a suitable pan over low to medium heat.
Place the asparagus spears in the pan, cover and cook for about 5 minutes
Check for done-ness and scatter some big salt with a flourish!
