FOIL BAKED FISH VERY DELISH

 

                                            FOIL BAKED FISH VERY DELISH











This recipe is very smooth and zen, :) yes, easy.  I made a small amount today but it can be doubled and tripled at will.  It flows.


INGREDIENTS

1 lb fish cleaned and ready,  I used steel head trout and removed the skin easily

1/4 onion sliced

1/2 a lemon sliced

Foil

Marinade of the following ingredients:

1 1/2 Tbsp good oil

1 1/2 tsp good vinegar

1 tsp herbs de provence

1/3 tsp garlic powder

3/4 tsp salt

1/3 tsp black pepper or crushed peppercorns 

a few lemon slices


DIRECTIONS

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine all the marinade ingredients together in a goodly bowl.

Gently spread the marinade over the fish and set aside for 15 minutes. 

Spread a nice size of foil in baking dish and lay in the fish and pour the marinade over it.

Scatter the onion and lemon slices over the fish.

Pull up the edges of the foil and seal the fish.

Set a baking dish with the fish packet in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.

Let the fish rest in the foil sleeve for at least 5 minutes before serving.
