                                                                     The best!

 Easy, lemony and nutritious hummus!   The secret is to use the best quality ingredients you can find.   Unlike traditional recipes there is no hint of sesame in this one.  And its the best hummus ever!


INGREDIENTS

1 can of garbanzo beans

1/2 tsp chopped garlic

10 black peppercorns

Juice of a whole lemon

1/2 Meyer lemon, sliced

1/4 tsp salt

1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil


Garnish:

1 Meyer lemon thinly sliced

1 Tbsp extra virgin oil

Generous sprinkle of paprika


DIRECTIONS

Blend the garbanzos, garlic, peppercorns, lemon juice, salt and 1 Tbsp oil into a smooth hummus.

Check for taste.  Must be delicious!

Garnish with a swirl of another tablespoon of olive oil over the hummus and sprinkle with a generous dash of paprika and Meyer lemon.
